He appeared before the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi and was granted a two-day interim bail with a bond of Rs 25,000.<br /><br />Advocate Rajeev Mohan represented Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, while Additional Public Prosecutor Atul Srivastava appeared for the Delhi Police during the proceedings. The court has scheduled a hearing for regular bail on Thursday.<br /><br />The case was initiated based on a chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police on July 7, which led to summons being issued to Vinod Tomar, the former WFI boss, and the suspended WFI assistant secretary.<br /><br />During the brief hearing, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh expressed his concerns about being subjected to a media trial. He was upset about the chargesheet details being leaked to the media, leading to news sites and newspapers reporting it verbatim.<br /><br />The next hearing, focusing on the regular bail of both Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and Vinod Tomar, is set for July 20.
